About
This website seeks to reflect on some of my major research projects and scientific interests. My current work focuses on „augmented vision“ and the „political sociology of digital media“, here referred to as iRevolution. Although both topics diverge in their theoretical approaches (one coming from a cultural science perspective in the context of media intervention, the other from a social science perspective in the context of media activism), they are adressed within the framework of what in German humanities is meant by kulturwissenschaftliche Medienwissenschaft. In order to enhance dialogue about each specific field as well as to serve as a public archive for my current projects, the site is structured as two seperate but interlinked blogs. More detailed summaries are available via the about-section of each blog.
